If you watch our video about our history as a system, as an organization, you know that years back, I took a hiatus from teaching for about 3 years to work on the system. 3 years was an arbitrary number, it just ended up being the amount of time that it took to accomplish what I wanted to accomplish.
And, if you are a member of our newsletter, you recently saw that I have decided to do the same, again, and my decision to no longer pursue the ‘physical’ side of martial art.
Over the years, I have changed, my interests and teaching have changed, but, Pramek has changed very little. The focus has remained on science, mechanics, combatives, movement. For more than a decade Pramek has pushed the limits of what people define as ‘martial art’. But, as I have changed, I have come to some interesting realizations that I have led me to decide to take time off to focus on other things, as well as focus on what Pramek can be.
I’ll be back, at some point, and I hope you will continue enjoying, at that time, what Pramek becomes.
The shop will remain open, and when there is a new announcement, I will let you all know. I don’t know when that will be, but it will be.
This isn’t goodbye, this is ‘I’m going to the store to get some cool stuff and I’ll be right back.’
